PiCode Highlighted as One of the 4 Local Innovations Adopted in the 2015 Hong Kong IT Fest
PiCode developed by Prof. Wai Ho MOW's HKUST Barcode Group was highlighted as one of the 4 local innovations adopted in the Hong Kong IT Fest on March 24, 2015. 20,000 pieces of promotion materials with PiCode were printed and distributed to the public. Advertising posters for IT Fest with PiCode included were displayed in various places in Tsim Sha Tsui, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and so on.
Besides winning the MobiCom’13 Best Mobile App Award, PiCode has won 5-6 more other awards, including the Gold Award of the 2014 HK U-21 IoT Award for IoT Revolutional Concept, and the First Prize of the 2015 (nationwise) Inno-China Entrepreneurship Competition.
