Prof. Zexiang LI and ECE Alumnus Frank WANG Win The IEEE Robotics and Automation Award 2019
Prof. Zexiang LI and ECE alumnus & DJI founder Frank WANG have been awarded IEEE Robotics and Automation Award 2019 with the citation “For contributions to the development and commercialization of civilian drones, aerial imaging technology”.
IEEE Robotics and Automation Award has been established since 2002 to recognize contributions in the field of robotics and automation. It is one of the most prestige awards in the field.
Prof. LI shared his thoughts on receiving the IEEE Robotics and Automation Award in an IEEE ceremony, saying that he hoped the XBot Park would become a dream-realizing place for those who has robotic dreams.
