Prof. Shu YANG received the prestigious "the 1000 Talents Plan for Young Talents"(青年千人計劃)Award
Prof. Shu YANG has recently received the prestigious "the 1000 Talents Plan for Young Talents"(青年千人計劃)award in China. It is one of the most prestigious awards for young researchers in China and Prof. Yang is the youngest researcher to receive this award in history.
Prof. Shu YANG received her BS degree in Microelectronics from Fudan University in 2010, and Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) from HKUST in 2014. She was supervised by Prof. Kevin CHEN and was among the first batch of Hong Kong PhD Fellowship awardees. In 2014, she joined ECE at HKUST as a visiting assistant professor. Her research focuses on advanced characterization, fabrication and performance enhancement of wide bandgap GaN-based semiconductor devices for power electronics applications.
