Prof. Ross MURCH Appointed Founding Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Electromagnetics, Antennas and Propagation
Prof. Ross MURCH, Chair Professor of Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE), has been appointed the founding Editor-in-Chief of the newly launched IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Electromagnetics, Antennas and Propagation (JSTEAP), which is co-sponsored by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S), the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S), and the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc). Prof. Frankie CHIU, Research Associate Professor of the ECE Department, has been appointed as the journal’s Executive Editor.
The focus of JSTEAP is to bridge the gaps between electromagnetics, communications, and microwave technology. The inaugural issue will focus on the topic of “Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC)”, with a submission deadline of May 2, 2025. Additional information can be found in the Call for Papers. Proposals for future selected topics in JSTEAP issues are also welcome, with further details available in the Call for JSTEAP Issue Proposals.
