PhD student, Ms Shiwen Tang was awarded the Mojgan Daneshmand Grant

We are thrilled to announce that our PhD student, Ms Shiwen Tang has been awarded the Mojgan Daneshmand Grant for Women by IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society due to her outstanding research achievements in antennas. There were twelve grants awarded across the 6 continents this year, with only one winner from HKUST. Congratulations Shiwen!

The grant is named after Prof. Mojgan Daneshmand, whose research achievements and commitment to the Antennas and Propagation Society are a model to promote women. This award was established in 2021 to promote women’s participation and visibility in the field of antennas and propagation. The grants are awarded to early-career female researchers with strong potential and track record of research.
