PhD student, Junhui RAO has won the 2023 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Fellowship (IEEE APS-F) Award

We are pleased to announce that our PhD student, Junhui RAO, has won the 2023 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Fellowship (IEEE APS-F) Award for his project of “Doubling the Capability of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: (Dual-Band RIS Based on Shared Aperture With Independent Reconfigurability)” for developing new systems for future 6G wireless communications systems, under the guidance of Prof. Ross Murch!

The aim of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Fellowship Program
is introduced to promote the Society’s areas of interest (including antennas, radiation, propagation, and the interaction of electromagnetic waves with discrete and continuous media; and applications and systems pertinent to antennas, propagation, and sensing) among graduate students and postdoctoral fellows worldwide to facilitate their career pursuit in these areas.

Our warmest congratulations to Junhui RAO and Prof. Ross’s team for this impressive achievement!
