ROV Team of HKUST Robotics Team Received Championship in the 16th IET/MATE Hong Kong Regional of the MATE ROV Competition
ROV Team - a sub-team of HKUST Robotics Team - received championship in the 16th IET/MATE Hong Kong Regional of the MATE ROV Competition. This is the first time that IET Hong Kong orgnaized an online ROV competition. The competition was held on 12 Jun 2021.
A total of 17 team members from 5 nationalities (Hong Kong, Indonesia , Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam) attended the competition. The students come from 6 UG programs (CIVIL-DD, CSE-DD, ELCE, ISD, ISOM and SENG), four of them are ELEC students:
- LAM, Humi (Year 3)
- LUI, Nok (Year 2)
- RUSLI, Filbert (Year 2)
- SO, Yee Leuk (Year 2)
The ROV team will be eligible for the 2021 MATE ROV Competition World Championship to be held in August 2021.
