Prof. Zexiang LI wins The InnoStars Award
Prof. Zexiang LI of ECE has been awarded The InnoStars Awards along 5 other awardees including co-founder of GOGOVAN Stevan LAM, CUHK Asso Dean (Research) of medicine Prof LOYuk Ming and WeLab founder Simon LUNG, who are all entrepreneurial leaders in the industry, for their outstanding innovative achievements in the field of science and technology, business operation or product and service.
The InnoStars Awards were organized by Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) to recognize innovative entrepreneurs and to encourage the younger generation to think, innovate and flourish globally and most importantly to inspire the city’s new generation to continue the innovation journey started by their forebearers.
The award was organized by OHKF in collaboration with The Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Institution of Science and Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences.
The launch of the InnoStars Award was announced at the ‘InnoTech Expo 2017’ last September. 6 awardees were finally selected by the award’s judging panel formed by the reputed community leaders.
