Alumnus Dr. Corbett ROWELL’s Paper Won the IEEE ComSoc Fred W. Ellersick Prize 2018
Dr. Corbett ROWELL, who received his MPhil from ECE in 1996, won the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Fred W. Ellersick Prize for the best original paper this year.
About his paper:
“Large-Scale Antenna Systems with Hybrid Analog and Digital Beamforming for Millimeter Wave 5G”, IEEE Communications Magazine, Vol. 52, Issue 1, Page 186-194, January 2015.
He is currently working on a new 3D OTA system for mmWave that fits on a benchtop that can measure devices up to 20-30cm in size.
