Prof. Zhiyong FAN named as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry

Prof. Zhiyong FAN of ECE has been named as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).

The RSC is a world leading chemistry society in the United Kingdom with the goal of "advancing the chemical sciences".  It has a long history which can be traced back to Chemical Society of London formed in 1841 and Royal Institute of Chemistry formed in 1877.  Currently RSC has about 54,000 members around the world.  The designation of FRSC is given to members who have achieved a high level of accomplishment and made major contributions to chemistry.
