Prof. Vladimir CHIGRINOV has been Appointed as IDSAI 2020-2024 Vice President

The Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IDSAI) has appointed Prof. Vladimir CHIGRINOV as the Vice President of the Institute for 2020-2024.

Prof. CHIGRINOV has more than 42 years of experience in academia, management and as an international leader. He was recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre as an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia in 1994.  Prof. CHIGRINOV joined HKUST in 1999.  He became SID Fellow since 2008. 

Prof. CHIGRINOV published 6 authored books, 31 reviews and book chapters, about 313 journal papers, more than 662 Conference presentations, and 116 patents and patent applications including 35 US patents in the field of liquid crystals since 1974. He received A Slottow Owaki Prize of SID in 2018. He was awarded 2019 Distinguished Fellow of IETI (International Engineering and Technology Institute).
