Prof. Pascale FUNG Elected AAAI Fellow 2022

Prof. Pascale FUNG elected AAAI Fellow 2022 for “significant contribution to the field of conversational AI and to the development of ethical AI principles and algorithms”.

Prof. FUNG is currently Professor of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering and Director of Center for Artificial Intelligence Research (CAiRE).  She is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing, the IEEE  Signal Processing Letter, the ACM Transactions on Speech and Language Processing, and the Transactions on Association for Computational Linguistics. Her research interests range from cross-language information processing, machine translation, speech recognition to music information extraction.

Every year The Association of the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) recognizes a group of individuals who have made significant, sustained contributions to the field of artificial intelligence.
