PhD Alumna Prof. Angela Yingjun ZHANG has been Elected as an IEEE Fellow

Prof. Angela Yingjun ZHANG is currently an Associate Professor at Information Engineering department at Chinese University of Hong Kong. She received PhD degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2004.

Prof. ZHANG has been elected as an IEEE Fellow "for contributions to resource allocation and optimization in wireless communications".

The IEEE Fellow grade is one of the Institute's most prestigious honors. It recognizes extraordinary accomplishments in the profession and is conferred upon a person with unusual distinction and record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest following a very rigorous review. To ensure that the recognition is extraordinary, the total number of recipients each year does not exceed 0.1% of the total voting IEEE membership.
