The HKUST Robotics team led by Prof. Tim WOO has won 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal in the 15th annual all-events world championship of RoboGames

The HKUST Robotics team led by Prof. Tim WOO has won 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal in the 15th annual all-events world championship of RoboGames in Pleasanton, CA on Apr 6-9, 2023. This is also the first time for a university team from Hong Kong to participate in the RoboGames.

With that in mind, Prof WOO encouraged the students explored topics related to science and technology from opportunities that arose at HKUST by allowing their personal interests to lead their research topics and ideas.

To mention the three recipients from ECE department - HSU, YUNG HSIANG, LAW, WUN TSZ and LIN, YEN PO, the department is proud of them and will continue the support with opportunity to develop their engineering skills and follow their passion devoted exclusively to inventions and innovations!
