Profile

Ping Wang received the B.S. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017 and the Ph.D. degree from Princeton University in 2023.

His lab focuses on developing high-performance power electronics for emerging energy systems and applications, such as AI chip power delivery, data centers, electric vehicles, and renewable energy. Key research areas include high-frequency/high-density power converters, advanced magnetics design, control modeling and integration, and AI-assisted power solutions.

He is the recipient of the IEEE PELS Ph.D. Thesis Talk (P3 Talk) Award, two Prize Paper Awards of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, and two First-Place Awards of the IEEE ECCE Best Student Project Demo Competition.
