Dr HAN Wei is an Assistant Professor in Sustainable Energy and Environment Thrust at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) since October 2021. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Toronto in Prof. Peter W. Lehn’s Group from 2020 to 2021. He received the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2015 and 2020, respectively, supervised by Prof. K. T. Chau and Prof. C. C. Chan. He received his B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Northeastern University, China, in 2014.

His research interests include power electronics, wireless power transfer, electric vehicle energy technologies, electric machines and drives. Dr. Han has published over 40 journal papers in aforementioned areas. He acts as reviewers of multiple TOP journals and he is currently a Guest Editor of Energies.
