Dr. Swapnadeep Poddar joined the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, as a Research Assistant Professor in 2026. He received his M.Phil. degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2019 and his Ph.D. degree from the same institution in 2022, where he was supported by the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). He was subsequently a Postdoctoral Fellow at HKUST from 2022 to 2026, supported by the RGC-Hong Kong Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (HKPDFS). His research focuses on nanostructured perovskite-based Resistive RAM (RRAM) for next-generation data storage and neuromorphic computing, with ancillary projects centered on perovskite-based optoelectronic and biomimetic devices. Dr. Poddar's work has been published in top conferences and leading journals including Nature Communications, Science Advances, Nano Letters and Nature.
