Sub-team of HKUST Robotics Team won 3 top awards in the 12th NXP® Cup Intelligent Car Racing Competition in South China region this summer

ECE year 2 student TSE Sil Kwong, teamed up with other engineering students to form a sub-team of HKUST Robotics team and participated in the 12th NXP® Cup Intelligent Car Racing Competition in South China region this summer. The team achieved outstanding performance and received 3 top awards after a keen competition.
 
The team received a total of 3 awards including:
-    2nd  Class Award in the Camera Car Category
-    3rd  Class Award in Balance Car Category
-    3rd  Class Award in Chasing Cars Category
 
Besides participating in an intensive competition, the students also organized a friendship exchange program with the local universities to further enrich their knowledge.
