HKUST ROV Team secured the Champion in the Hong Kong Regional Underwater Robot Challenge 2018

The HKUST ROV team, consisting of 16 undergraduate students from the School of Engineering, has once again secured the Champion in the Hong Kong Regional Underwater Robot Challenge 2018 on 22 April 2018.
 
In this competition, the students had to complete different tasks and they overcame all the challenges with excellent performance.
 
The ROV team will proceed to the MATE International ROV Competition to be held in Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center, Federal Way, Washington, USA in June 2018.
 
The international competition has been organized by Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center for many years in association with the Marine Technology Society ROV Committee. The international competition brings an audience of experts in the marine industry as innovations usually emerge from international teams.
