ECE PhD Students HUANG Zhiqiang and JIANG Junmin have won the IEEE SSCS Predoctoral Achievement Awards 2016-2017

Mr. HUANG Zhiqiangand and Mr. JIANG Junmin, ECE PhD students supervised by Professors Howard Luong and Wing-Hung Ki, respectively, have won the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Predoctoral Achievement Awards 2016-2017 for their excellent PhD research work.

 

The award ceremony will be held at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) on 5-9 February 2017 in San Francisco, USA. 

 

For a small number of promising graduate students, IEEE-SSCS Predoctoral Achievement Awards provide a USD1000 honorarium and reimbursement for travel expenses to ISSCC, the Society's flagship conference, which is globally one of the best known of the many conferences sponsored by the IEEE. Awards are made on the basis of academic record and promise, quality of publications, and a graduate study program well matched to the charter of SSCS.
