Talk Description

Mike Pan is one of the second batch of students from ECE at HKUST and in this talk he will share his career and work experiences since graduating. In particular he will describe his current job duties and functions at China Mobile. He will describe what to expect in your work when you graduate and provide some tips on how to get promoted. He will also provide some tips on your career planning while you are still a student and also how to get the most from your studies so that it helps your future career.

Speaker's Biography

Mike Pan graduated in 1995 with a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is currently employed as a Senior Manager of Network Optimization Division at China Mobile. He has been working in the industry for over 22 years and previous positions also included Radio Network Manager, Senior Engineer in China Mobile. He is specialized in radio network coverage planning and optimization.
