Ph.D. Columbia University

Yihan Zhang received the B.Eng. degree in Microelectronics from Tsinghua University in 2013, the M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in 2020. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Peking University before joining HKUST in 2023.

His research group focuses on exploring analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design in the nW/sub-nW power regime as well as ultra-low power integrated-circuit-based systems that realize novel applications. His research work has been published in top-tier circuit conferences including IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), IEEE Symposium on VLSI Circuits (VLSI-C), IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC), as well as journals including Nature Communications, The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), and IEEE Transactions of Circuits and Systems-I (TCAS-I).

The group currently have several openings on all levels including postdoc, Ph.D., and M.Phil. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested.
