Mr. Sam Hau is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of industry experience in optical and display-related technologies. He is currently the Senior Manager (Microelectronics) of Ecosystem Development at Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited. He has a proven track record of driving technology commercialization through technology licensing, and spin-offs. His career spans innovation with technology companies, research institute and statutory. He was a member of the HKUST ECE Advisory Board (2023-2024).

Mr. Sam Hau graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Electronic Engineering (Information and Communication Engineering), obtained his Master (MSc) degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Law at Manchester Metropolitan University.
